These two lanterns look great in my home. The original globes for these lights were glass. One came crashing down one day due to the weight on the cord. These paper lanterns are nice looking and safe, not to mention inexpensive. And to think I considered Noguchis!

We used 8, 10 and 12 inch. We had 3 strands of 100 lights hung in the backyard for our wedding. The lanterns on the lights it really took it up a notch, I loved the irregular ribbing. It really made a huge difference and I would recommend them again and again. (Also shipping was really fast we are in southern CA)

Originally bought a 14" and a 10" to compare the sizes and decided to go with 10". Great price for the product. Paper is thinner compared to similar products, but can't beat the price. It requires a delicate handling to hang, but once I got used to it, it went quick. We have been hanging these lanterns for straight three weeks outside and they are holding up pretty good. There have been no rain, so I am not sure how it sustains in raining. I know higher quality can sustain in a light rain. I noticed some creases during the day, but when it lights up, they won't be noticeable.
