It was the perfect size. I love that it’s quite large for our space and fills up the dining table. Also we used a cord cover along the way. This store has the best prices for swag lights. Doco and other places are so expensive. I wish they made metal pendants and other materials as well. No regrets!

I loved the size however it was not sturdy. There were tears in it when I opened it up for the first time. Not so big that i could not use it but still, not very happy with the damage. I emailed customer service and I’m waiting for a response.

I love the close ribbing on these, I much prefer it to the regular kind! The quality is equal to HAY rice lamps, but much cheaper.

Beautiful and durable! We are always ready for a gathering and decorating is effortless with these installed on a timer. So happy with these lanterns. They’re affordable too. So, replacing them after bad weather or long time wear-and-tear is not a hit to the wallet.

I've always loved ricepaper lanterns; I like how the shades soften the light and turn what could be harsh into a glow. I had already purchased three really nice shades for a lamp in the room I use for my home office, but I wanted light overhead that would be dispersed and not like sitting under a bare bulb. So I found this nice big (16") globe, and it's perfect-- my last shade was thin gauze and didn't soften anything, but this is just right. It's like having my own moon hanging overhead. :)

Very impressed with all of the paper lanterns--both the quality and the reasonable price. They were purchased for use in a Lighting Design workshop at a non-profit arts center for middle school age kids. They were used by several students in combination with branches, as both table and wall lamps.

Replaced an old paper shade with this new one. The old one was brown and aged, and this new one not only looks much nicer but further augments the lumens from our LED bulb. So it's brighter and we see better! This shade is much more durable and attractive than the old shade, which had the uneven wire patterning. I expect this to last longer than the old shade as a result of the better build. I would like to see more shapes to choose from. I preferred the shape of my old shade, which was similar to an aspirin tablet--a short, wide cylinder, with small openings on top and bottom. The scale was more appropriate for our space.

I LOVE these more heavy-duty lanterns. I use them throughout my Colorado gardens to give an Asian feel. This pic shows a seating area I created by trimming a huge 60’ Blue Spruce to have an open space beneath it. I leave the lanterns out all year round; the tree above keeps them fairly protected from rain, wind, and snow. Only these heavy-duty lanterns are tough enough to leave out year-round!
