Easy fix to light paper lantern
This little powerhouse of a light fulfilled a very specialized need in illuminating an antique oil lamp. It's perfect!
Nice bright light. Only a few hours duration though ... AAA batteries drain fast, so I recommend using rechargeable ones.

We used three colors of paper lanterns clipped in between our cafe lighting to decorate our backyard for our son's second and larger wedding reception. It was magical. We left it up for the remainder of the Fall and did a lot of entertaining in the backyard. We love it!

These give an even and bright light distribution to give great illumination. However, when using the timer on the remote control (bought separately) with auto shutoff after 6 hours, brand new batteries only seem to last about two days. These lights really suck up battery juice very quickly. I recommend them, but don’t use the timer function.
I have been making these frame lanterns for a few years now, but I've been having trouble finding a bright but compact lighting unit for inside. These are what I have been looking for, flameless warmth, and 360 degrees of bright light. I can even put multiple units in a lantern if I need more light. Wonderful. The only thing that would make them better is if they were USB rechargeable.
We were looking for lights to fill our silk lanterns that we got a while ago in Hoi An, Vietnam. The opening is very narrow, but these fit perfectly! They're small but very bright and if you buy the remote separately (which I did), it allows you to dim or make the light flicker like a candle. Very handy if you're going to hang them in a high place. Highly recommend. We were so impressed with them and the service that we bought them a 2ND TIME for our friends and families that we also bought lanterns for during our trip. BOTH times, they were able to delivery within 3 days of ordering. Super fast process. They even sent a little gift to show their appreciation. Awww...thanks you guys!
I've had this paper lantern for awhile and wanted lights for it. My yoga room has an Asian theme and I like mood lighting. I ordered two and they work perfectly.

worked really well for a project, wanted to hang lights fro my ten foot ceiling did not want any cords, and they are only on for an hr or so. modified old ceiling fan lights from my mom who passed a few years ago, very pleased with the turn out, would have been a 5 star, but not sure on battery life as I've only had a few days....
The instructions do not explain that, once the batteries are installed, the battery door will not shut tightly closed - to properly install them, the outter bottom piece needs to be screwed on as well which is what creates the battery connection.
I purchased both cool and warm white versions of this lantern light and both are well made and provide reliable service. I rather like the design of the light as well. I highly recommend getting the remote that pairs with this lamp since it's a plus to be able to dim them and switch on the flickering flame effect. Overall great product :-)
The light is perfect, EXCEPT YOU DO NOT HAVE A REMOTE CONTROL AVAILABLE. It is difficult to operate without a remote. Please let me know when a remote is available Thank you. Gary
The bulb is perfect. We originally had a cord with a light but it was a European plug that we were unable to convert. The bulb was the perfect solution!
I wish they wouldn't turn on spontaneously. It drains the batteries when not needed.

These lights really do light up the whole paper lantern. The light is really a cylinder with numerous LED mini lights on all sides. The top of the cylinder blasts light out through the top hole in the paper lantern lighting up anything above. If this is a problem, just put a little masking tape over those LEDS.
