It wasn't completely clear in the kit description that the three cords were actually all connected into one. Also the light sockets aren't for standard sizes, which isn't clear either, and the little plastic cages included with the stars are useless with the smaller size lights since the neck is too big to keep it in place. The paper stars themselves are pretty, once I managed to cobble together an effective way to keep the bulb and cord in place. In the future I'd buy the lanterns and the cords/lights separately.
