These lanterns are great. While in a protected area, we leave them up year round outside with minimal fade. We did have to order new red this year just to bring back the vibrancy but with that being said, they have been up for 3 years!!

These silk lanterns lasted for more than 5 years in the worst kind of Southern California UV exposure, as well as torrential rain and wind. We were constantly surprised to see them still hanging strong after incredible wind storms. And the color did not fade! They look especially good with matching-color LED bulbs. Love them!

These lanterns look fabulous and are a great addition to our Christmas decor. We will definitely be purchasing some more to outfit other trees on our property! However, make sure you secure them with zip ties or other wire ties to prevent them from blowing away in the wind!
