It was exactly what I wanted. One thi g that didn't work out is that it didn't fit on the lights we already had and we had to plug it in separately and purchase another timer. That was a bummer, but what can you do♀️ The lights are great!

These are for Christmas, so I haven't put them to full test yet... but I tried them and have only one problem. The plug does not stay on the outlet keeps sliding out. I wonder if they sent me a European model or something? I will need to use table to hold itbin the socket.

I plan on using these outdoor for Halloween and Christmas. They look really bright. The only issue that I can see is that the led light is directional which means that if it twists and isn't facing forward you may not get the full effect of the lights

the first one I received was defective. so I called customer support and was please that they were able to replace the defective rope light with a new one very promply.
