This new gold star lantern fits in perfectly with our Christmas decor. The Christmas tree we purchased a couple of years ago was a bit taller than our old one. So the tree-topper star could no longer be placed. The star lantern is now our North Star above our Nativity Set (not pictured). Very happy I purchased this on Cyber Monday, delivered well in time before Christmas.

Paper stars were hung in my poolhouse when we bought this house 14 years ago. The first stars were all different colors and they were beautiful. When a blown refrigerator motor fire in the kitchen last month deposited heavy black soot everywhere, it was finally time to replace the stars. I thought all white might be a nice change and I was right. My stars arrived as promised, in perfect condition with something new my old stars did not have - a beautiful and strong cord to close them. Very easy. 5 stars!!

Really happy with the look of these lanterns! Only downside is due to the time of year/bad weather, I had to take them down twice! Not difficult to assemble once you figure it out. Video on site helpful.

Wonderful and awesome looking. Remember a time in Norway, My mother had a like star hanging in the Large window , facing the front of the house, This one with the App , makes it really nice. So I had to purchase the Wiz/Phillips lamp, (16 Million Phillips bulbs, like these have sold so far, ) and also purchased 2 for another room in my house, My lantern star, did not have any bulbs , included. Hope to add many more in the future, thanks for a wonderful addition to my Window.

Absolutely loved these stars! I was able to apply them to a photo backdrop for a special event. I even applied some mini light inside to make them more spectacular. Afterwards, I’ll use them again for photo prop opportunities. I even got some extra ones so that I can hang them in my daughter’s room for when we decorate.
Reasonably priced and great addition to our stage.

These are white. They are showing a different color while lit in the dark. I used the Feit Light string from Costco with LED bulbs, but also used the plastic protectors that were sent with the lanterns. I was frustrated at first trying to get these to open up and stay open. I found that if you separate each point first from the outside, then stick your hand inside each point and open them up and squeeze the point tip just a little, they tend to work a little better. However, be aware that they are punched all at once while folded shut and I also noticed that some had some glue points that also caused them to stick to themselves. I totally tore the first one I tried. Also, the clips that hold the cord when you have them open are kind of weak and tend to slide some, so the star is never fully shut.
