A friend gave me one of these fans, and I knew I had to have more of them. I keep a couple of them in my purse for those hot flash moments. They have been a godsend for us middle-aged ladies. So far, they've held up wonderfully, and are a real bargain for the price.

These would probably be fine for a one time use like a wedding. The handle is not particularly pleasing esthetically, but functional. I purchased them for a childrenâ€™s choir prop and on most of them the fan part had to be reglued to the handle after the first one or 2 uses. Other than that they did not break or tear.

Not enough glue on plastic to hold fan open

These fans are cute, with pretty colors. They should be sold with a complimentary tube of super glue. Five out of every ten fans came unglued with the first opening. This was especially true of the green ones, for some reason. Buy them ahead of time, plan some time in front of the TV, open each one, put super glue on the paper, close them back up, put them in the box, and hope they hold. Buy extra. They're cheap.

I ordered these fans to have for my guests at our wedding. I ordered them in all colors and for the price they were WONDERFUL! The handle was plastic and the fan paper and while they could not stand up to a 2 & 5 year old, they worked perfectly and did not feel cheap. I would highly recommend this product.
