This option with 3 lights is very convenient. It eliminates the need for more cords, keeping the area more tidy. I just wish there was a better way of connecting them to the paper lanterns. I might be doing it wrong, but the only way I could figure out how to do it seemed flimsy and prone to problems. No idea what else could be done but that's my review.
These light sockets worked great so we could hang up our stars! We’ve gotten several compliments as people can see them from the street when they walked by. Makes the house feel so cozy when they are lit at night.
Works perfectly with star lanterns! FYI, for anyone who wants to order lightbulbs at the same time, you need a chandelier/candle base lightbulb. I made the mistake of ordering a medium base lightbulb and it did not fit.
We bought these because we were missing lights on our Dept. 56 houses. This worked just fine.
It’s a cord, it worked.
Works well if you don't have many outlets
Easy installation, lights work perfectly, and I couldn't be more pleased. Thank you!
This year I invested in triple light kits for 4 large windows - 2 windows I use all three lights and on the other two (slightly smaller) I used 3m command hooks (the ones used for outdoor lights) to secure the third (longest) light out of the way so that I am using only 2 of the 3 lights. I also used command hooks to hang the lights - a much better solution for me than using the enclosed permanent hooks. I love the look!
Very functional but a little tricky to arrange the different length cords.
Works fine but BE AWARE the third light is attached to the second divider,, whereas the first section is completely solo, so it is not made for evenly hanging lanterns in a line. We had to rig the cords so that we could hang 3 in a row in a window and it looks a little funky, though beautiful from outside! I did not expect them to be selling an asymmetrical cord, I assumed the 3 sections would all be individual and equal (it does give the measurements in the specifications but was not noted in the title or description).
I think the star lanterns are very stunning. I would like the strings of pendant lights to be different tho. I made it work.
Worked fine for the three silk lanterns.
This is for the star lanterns. I got it thinking I could use it for 3 round lanterns. It didn't work. Works great for the stars though.
This light cord was of better quality than I expected especially for the price. I recommend buying this.
The product itself is fine but there are no instructions about how to hang or what bulbs to use. The only thing it says is don't use over 60 watts (assumption would be 20watts for each of the 3 bulbs. BUT the 20 watt bulbs that I bought got SO HOT in about 30 seconds that it melted a hole in the rug that they were laying on. Can't imagine the fire had I actually gotten them into the paper lamps! Ended up with nightlight bulbs, about 3 watts each. Would love to have had some guidance there!
I thought the cord would be spaced more evenly for hanging the lanterns. It is a bit confusing and I also thought it would come with the light bulbs that would be okay to use with the paper lanterns. I have been having a hard time finding the correct bulbs.
