Wrong one arrived and they immediately fixed it
We‚€™v been using the lamp cord about a week in my son‚€™s room and it works/looks great. I ordered the white one and a black one was delivered. Called them up and immediately a white one was sent out and they had me keep the black one anyway. Looks like I‚€™ll be ordering more lanterns! :)
ProsAs described, easy to install

Amazing Value!
My husband spent 8 hours researching the best options for several lights we needed to repair. This piece came up for an industrial light cage and it was the perfect solution. With the bulbs included it could not have been easier and it looks Amazing!! I will be ordering more!
ProsLights included, dimmer switch
ConsDimmer switch was large and we had to take it apart to put it through the hole.

This is a good product, I was expecting the light sockets to be a little further apart, but my husband was able to fix that.

So perfect.
I've always wanted to hang mason jars in my kitchen but never considered myself one to handle electronic projects. I made up my mind to do it and The Paper Lantern Store. I was so happy and well above and beyond expectations. I have ordered another set for the next project and I'm planning even more and my first stop will be!!!

Awesome simple chandelier
I was trying to wire up a similar cord with 3 bulbs and this was way easier and better priced. I grouped the bulbs together to make a simple chandelier and love the dimmer.

Works perfectly! :)
We used this multi-socket cord in my son's room to add more light. It works perfectly and is a great length. We hung it from the ceiling and hung 3 10" nylon lanterns from it. My son loves having "ball"s on his ceiling. :)
ProsThe length is great. The light switch is in a great location.
ConsThey were out of white so we got black which stands out against the white ceiling.

This cord simplifies the hanging process for the paper lanterns. Easy to use and Sturdy! The length isn't too short either making it easy to hang in different spots.

Not exactly what I wanted
When I purchased these I thought it would be a single plug with three 17‚€™ light strands. That‚€™s not the case. It is a single plug but with one strand that spans about 15‚€™ then three separate runs of about 2-3‚€™ each that branch off. The equipment is beautiful and functions well, just not what I thought I‚€™d be getting
ConsNot 3 separate strands

As described but a little different than expected
There are two junctions on the cable : where the first and second cables are connected to the main cable. The third doesn't have that junction; it's just a continuation of the main cable which makes the third light fixture a bit more challenging to hang. (For clarity, I was expecting a main cable with 3 same length cables hanging from it.) It all works fine but I think it would have been easier to hang with a different configuration.
ProsThese fit perfectly in the stars I bought and looked incredible at night. The picture doesn't do them justice.
ConsAs stated above the configuration was a little bit of a challenge.

Saw this on page 25 of Southern Living magazine Sept.2012. Can this be used and KEPT outdoors using the specified empty glass pickle jars?? (provided, of course, hail doesn't break the glass)
1 Answer

This item can be used in dry outdoor, the socket is not waterproof, so if it rains or snows, it might cause the socket to not work. Thanks, Customer Service
