can i battery operated LED lights for these as I have no outlets to plug them in?

Inserting a "hanging" battery is a little difficult as there is no hanging device inside the star lantern. One way our clients have used 16 LED Hanging Battery Terminal For Lanterns http://www.paperlanternstore.com/12ledhabatef.html was to tie the string from the terminal to the string used to tie the lantern shut.
