5 Point Star Lanterns
Paper Lantern Store carries over a 100 options in 5-point star lanterns. We have star lanterns in solid colors, in decorative patterns, with or without glitter adornments and are made either in thick paper or weatherproof plastic. Lantern Stars are decorative and many have cut-outs that cast shadows when lit at night and are classically beautiful during the day. Offered in singles, sets and with or without lighting, you’ll definitely be able to find a star to fit your décor.
7 Point Star Lanterns
7-Point stars are offered in a few specially detailed paper designs and three weatherproof colors. 7 multi-pointed stars come in 12 inches all the way to 30 inches lanterns. They make a real statement when hung inside or out as they have beautiful designs and cut-outs.
9 Point Star Lanterns
Beautifully crafted and exceptionally detailed, 9-Point stars are truly unique and make quite a impact wherever they're hung. Mix with other multi-pointed stars or use as lighting centerpieces throughout your home or event.
Moravian Stars
Named after a multi-faceted star, our Moravian stars are 18 pointed and intricately crafted to be folded flat just like the other star lanterns for easy storage and re-use over years and years. Sold in sizes 12” to 30”, Moravian Stars are very popular during Christmas time, New Years, as well as for Wedding Celebrations.
Accessories
A lot of our Star Lanterns are offered without lighting or in multi-packs already but you may need different options depending on your home or event area. Star Light Cords come in white or black and are offered in singles or in triple socket cords. These specific cords are E12 base bulbs which fit into the small openings of Star Lanterns. If you’re looking to have more than three lights in a row, we’d recommend that you use a E12 socket size string light. These sized cord sockets will also be small enough to fit within the opening of the star.
If an electric light cord doesn’t work for you then we’d recommend the Omni360 LED Light. These Battery Operated Omni Lights are multi-directional so they will help light all points of any star they’re put in. MoonBright Omni lights come in multiple colors and can be controlled with a remote control to easily turn them on and off without having to open or take down the lantern each time.
Other accessories you may need to hang your star lanterns are wire suspension cables or fishing line. If hanging multiple lanterns in a line the stainless steel wire kit will help with stability and keeping the line from drooping.
Fishing line can also be used to tie to the star closure to give more of a drop to each lantern from where you hang it. Nearly invisible, our strong filament line is perfect for hanging indoors or outside. It also works great in inclement weather!
