Hanging Battery Terminal For Lanterns
Our battery terminals operate on 2 AA batteries (not included), uses a small candelabra bulb (included) to illuminate your lanterns without the hassle of having electrical cord kits. Each terminal has a burn time of 5 -7 hours on one set of batteries. Has a on/off switch on the side of the terminal. Use with any lanterns above 10". Comes with a clip that hangs on metal part of paper lantern if you do not want to use the flexible cord. Two options for hanging, either clip onto the metal expander, or hang with the flexible cord inside the lantern. This terminal has a incandescent bulb, so the light is a amber glow. Overall Rating for Hanging Battery Terminal For LanternsPerfect!![]() By Crystal from Fishers, IN on April 24, 2012 I purchased 20 of these to put into the paper lanterns that I also bought from here for use as decor for my wedding. Because my wedding is outdoors, I needed lighting that did not require cords and these were by far the most inexpensive options. Not quite as bright as I would have liked (used with 16" white paper lantern) - they didnt show up well until it was quite dark - and then they looked just perfect. I ran them for 4 hours and they didnt seem to have got any dimmer over that time.Pros:No wires - lanterns looked excellent when it got dark. They have a switch.Cons:Not quite bright enough. When you're done with the party you have a whole bunch of half used batteries - I'm not sure if there is enough juice left in the batteries for the next party.I would recommend this item to a friend.perfect for wedding![]() By melanee from Billings mt on February 3, 2012 They were the perfect decorations for my weddingI would recommend this item to a friend. These are perfect.![]() By Carol from Orange County, CA on February 1, 2012 The hanging battery terminal for lanterns is a perfect solution. (AIS-BT = Approx 5 watts).By Katherine from Richmond, VA on June 26, 2012By Customer Service on June 26, 2012Answer:More than one terminal can be used per lantern. Our lanterns are not fire certified. However,we have tested our lanterns with standard household Type A 60 watt bulbs touching the side of a paper lantern. The most that occurred was that the portion touched turned slightly brown. We do recommend to practice common safety measures. As long as the bulbs are not touching the paper then the item should be fine.By Louise from Sydney, Aus on July 26, 2012By Customer Service on July 26, 2012Answer:The color is a warm white. (AIS-BT = Approx 5 watts). Recommended for lanterns10" to 20". Brightness may vary depending on the color shade. If wanting to light larger lanterns you may need to increase the quantity of terminals per lantern.By Sue from Shaftsbury VT on March 9, 2012By Customer Service on March 9, 2012Answer:For a 10" or 16" lantern the AIS-BT may give a soft glow. The brightness is dependent upon the darkness of color, time of day the terminals are used and if there is other lighting around. The AIS-BT is about 5 watts or comparable to a plug in night light. The AIS-BT will be same length of an 8" which will locate the bulb of the terminal right at the bottom, thus a little too long. A better option may be our LED2 or LED10-WW for an 8".
