We were afraid to order paper ones from a different company in case in rains. I was so happy to find the nylon ones that won't shred and be ruined if they catch a few sprinkles. They are beautifully made and the girls love them!I would recommend this item to a friend. Nylon Parasol (red) By Stephanie Ott from Allentown, PA on February 2, 2012 The Nylon Parasols were great for decorating our "Asian" Vacation Bible School Theme.Because of the Bamboo they have a sturdy structure but I was still surprised to see that the nylon was glued to the structure...after thinking about it it made sense...I don't know what else I was expecting. I wouldn't use them as a toy. They are a bit heavy. For decorating purposes they are Perfect!!
