Do you need any other hardware to connect your paper lanterns to these sockets?

The lanterns do not require any hard wiring on the electrical cord. Simply assemble the lantern and they may be hooked over the bulb. The "C Hook" is located at the top of the metal rectangular frame once inserted into the lantern.

I am trying to order lanterns and cord kits to decorate a tent for my wedding. I am having issues with pretty much any cord kit I select, and I get a message saying "not available at this time". I don't want to order the lanterns without the cord kits. Why I am getting this message?
By Customer Service on June 29, 2012

Answer:
We apologize about that inconvenience. Items not adding to your cart may be temporarily out of stock. The 25 Socket C7 White LightString w/bulbs For Lanterns (8"D - 14"D) is estimated to re-stock 7/15/12. Would there be any other items you would like to check?

By Angela Cain from Orlando, Florida on May 30, 2012
I see that the socket distance is 12" however it says that it would be good for 8" - 14" lanterns. If I were to use the 14" lanterns, would some of them be overlapping? It does not sound right to me.
By Customer Service on May 30, 2012

Answer:
We apologize about the confusion, if using every socket, then only lanterns 8" (Colors) or 10" (Size in White only) would accommodate the spacing. However, if skipping a bulb or two, you may use 12" (Colors) or 14" (Size in White only).

Do you hang these to the ceiling with fishing line and then attach paper lantern to the string over the bulbs?
By Customer Service on July 2, 2012

Answer:
This item will come with light bulbs. Approximately 5 watts each. Unfortunately it is out of stock and estimated to re-stock 7/15/12. With this cord you may use an 8" lantern on every socket, but if wanting to use bigger you may skip a bulb or two, as there is only 12 inches between each socket. Lanterns would need to be assembled and then slipped over the bulb on the cord.

By Customer Service on July 11, 2012

Answer:
The sockets of the cord do not suspend. Lanterns will hang right on the cord in a row.

Do this require to be plug into a special socket/voltage? or Can any socket be used?
By Customer Service on April 16, 2012

Answer:
The electrical cords are made to use with 120 V system in the U.S. As long as the outlet is compatible with 120 V. The only requirement would be that the outlet should be a standard 2 pin outlet: http://electricaloutlet.org/type-a and does not exceed 120 V.
