Nice looking but had a fault

I ordered a few different lanterns to test out before making a large purchase. I was very happy with all but one item. The basic white paper lantern had a couple issues. The metal rings were severely bent to the point they could barely hold the hook. Also, the top of the lantern had a small tear in it.

We had wanted wedding wish lanterns, the kind that you can send up in the air. Not sure how they are described...I will have to recheck but these are open top and bottom and aren't what we wanted. You may use our one of our "hanging" battery operated units. - LED tea lights will not fit inside our lanterns as they all have a bottom opening. If you want to hang them inside the lanterns, you would have to create something to hang it with. There are no hanging points on the tea lights itself

- Single Socket Cord Kits. You can use up to 60W bulb to make the event brighter, but if you are going to use the single socket cords, it'll require 1 outlet per socket and that might be a problem for outdoors. Standard type "A" bulbs not included

I am not sure what to use for lighting in the lanterns that won't be super expensive. We would like to have about 25 to 30 lanterns in the dark blue and white. The problem is whatever lights them has to be very light as they will be hanging from fish wire from the top of the walls and there is quite an expanse between the walls. Not allowed to hook to ceiling at all. So we need them to light up and be light weight. Any suggestions?

You said the top diameter hole is 4". Is there room for a 3.5" vase to fit down inside so I can have flowers coming out of the top of the lantern?

I see that there is an opening on the bottoms of the lanterns, is there any way to put an LED tea light in to illuminate the lantern (without it falling out?)

There is nothing on the inside of the lanterns that would allow for a tea light to sit inside without falling out. Some customers have found ways to make the tea lights hang on the inside of the lanterns but as to how they were able to do that we are unsure.
